delhi chief minister rekha Gupta said on sunday (May 04) that under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, her government is constantly working to improve Delhi. It is important for them to work round the clock, all 365 days of the year. The chief minister said that it is necessary to compensate for the 27 years of loss caused to the people of delhi by the previous governments. That is why her government is working continuously.

cm rekha Gupta on sunday launched the Ayushman Vay Vandan Yojana van. This mobile van will go to 70 assembly constituencies and will help in registering people above 70 years of age. Staff will be deployed inside it who will help in connecting the elderly with this scheme.

'Committed to bring public welfare vision to ground'

The cm wrote in a post on social media platform X, "This initiative is an important and strong step towards making health services reach every corner of Delhi. This campaign reflects our commitment to bring public welfare visions like 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Ayushman Bharat' of prime minister Narendra Modi to ground."

'Government sensitive towards the respect and health of the elderly'

He said that 70 days, 70 vans, 70 assembly constituencies, dedicated to citizens above 70 years of age - this special initiative is a symbol of our government's deep sensitivity towards the respect, health and secure future of our elders. We will leave no stone unturned in our resolve to provide excellent health facilities and long life to the people of delhi, especially our senior citizens.

rekha Gupta told the media, "This van will go to all 70 assembly constituencies of delhi and registration of the elderly will be done. Through this van, people will be able to register themselves easily. Two employees will be present inside the van who will help the elderly in registering them. Apart from this, information about the schemes being run by the central and state governments for the elderly will also be provided.
