The indian Army has taken a major action by conducting a surgical strike on some terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan-occupied POK. This retaliatory step was taken after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. There is an atmosphere of relief and satisfaction in the whole country regarding this action of the army. Along with the general public, peace-loving sections have also called it a necessary decision taken in self-defense.
Meanwhile, Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora, a well-known Islamic scholar of Deoband and patron of Jamiat Dawatul Muslimeen, while giving his opinion on this issue, said, "India is a peace-loving country. But when someone crosses our borders or targets innocent civilians, it becomes necessary to respond. The action of the indian Army is a bold and responsible step, which was necessary for the protection of the country."
He said that terrorism is not the identity of any religion or community. It is the enemy of humanity and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. Qari Gora described the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, as extremely regrettable and sad, in which many soldiers and civilians of the country were martyred.
He further said, "We are indian Muslims, and we have a spiritual relationship with the soil of this country. Whenever the country faces a crisis, we stand at the forefront. We are proud of our army, and we pray that Allah keeps them safe from every evil intention." Maulana Gora warned pakistan that it would be a mistake to consider India's peace as its weakness. "We should not be forced to respond on our own. Peace is not our compulsion, it is our thinking. But there can be no compromise on the protection of borders and the cost of the lives of citizens," he said bluntly.
This statement has come at a time when there is anger among the people about terrorism in the country and unity is needed the most. This message of Maulana Gora is a symbol of patriotism and responsibility of the Muslim community of India, which proves that peace and loyalty are our real identity.
