Maharashtra SP mla Abu Azmi reacted to prime minister Narendra Modi's address to the nation at 8 pm on 12 May. He said that our 40 soldiers were killed, then why has there been no talks till date? Actually, PM Modi had said in his address that terror and talk will not happen together. Abu Azmi said this while reacting to this. He said that somewhere our prime minister is kneeling in front of America.
'When the whole country was ready...then you stopped'
The SP mla said, "Our visits to pakistan and our relations with pakistan were good. Once the prime minister himself went there without being invited. The people of the country are asking how did you reach there? After this, such a big incident has happened again. If someone's will prevails in the country, if America says we will fight or else we won't fight, then why was the talk not started before this by their mediation? When the whole country was ready...then you stopped?"
'We should have done everything to the end'
Abu Azmi also said, "The country wants to know what this is? If we did not talk, then the way the attack happened, the soldiers should have been sent forward and we should have done everything to the end. This is our belief."
'When we turn on the tv in the morning...'
On PM Modi's statement that blood and water will not flow together, he said, "This is a dialogue...everyone is saying that when we took action against terror, we should have gone all out...I say again that if we had to take mediation, we should have done it earlier. First, it should be decided that from today onwards, when we turn on the tv in the morning and read the newspaper, it should not seem that there is a terrorist attack from Pakistan. Our soldiers are being killed at any time...the atmosphere is bad."
