The long-awaited Bengaluru-Tumkur Namma Metro assignment is inching in the direction of truth. New updates have emerged confirming progress at the metro course connecting the 2 cities.


The feasibility study document for the 56.6 km metro line has been completed and submitted to the Bangalore Metro rail Organization Limited (BMRCL), which in turn has forwarded it to the kingdom government.


 


Plans include the development of 25 elevated stations along the course. The metro line will start from Madavara (BIEC) station on Bengaluru's Green Line and enlarge all the way to Shira Gate in Tumkur, consistent with reviews. The proposed Bengaluru-Tumkur metro line will pass via the subsequent stations: Madavara, Makali, Dasanapura, Nelamangala, Weaver Colony, Nelamangala Vishweshwarapura, Nelamangala Tollgate, Boodihal, T. Begur, Thippagondanahalli, Kulavanahalli, Mahimapur, Billankote, Sompura industrial region, Dabaspet, Nallayanapalya, Chikkahalli, Hirehalli industrial area, Panditanahalli, Katsandra pass, Katsandra, take a seat, Tumkur bus Stand, Tooda layout, and Naganna Palya, and will culminate at Shira Gate. This path is expected to substantially advantage commuters alongside Tumkur Avenue.

With the feasibility file now submitted, the state government is predicted to give its approval quickly. Following this, the assignment will require the final nod from the imperative government before creation can start.
