
Siwan court has issued proclamation against former chief minister and RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav. The matter is of violation of Model Code of Conduct. Actually, in 2011, the hustle and bustle of Daraunda by-election was going on. Parmeshwar Singh was contesting on RJD ticket. It was alleged that despite Section 144 being in force, Lalu Yadav violated the Model Code of Conduct. The then CO registered a case against Lalu Yadav and Parmeshwar Singh under the Loudspeaker Act under Sound Amplification Equipment Act-9 at Daraunda police station.
In the old case, on saturday (May 17, 2025), the court of ACJM -1 MP-MLA has issued a proclamation against Lalu Yadav. First summons and then warrant was issued against Lalu Yadav. The RJD chief did not appear in the court. Now the court has issued the proclamation. The proclamation will be pasted in Lalu Yadav's ancestral village. Fulwaria of Gopalganj district is Lalu Yadav's ancestral village. In 2011, Parmeshwar Singh was contesting the by-election from Daraunda on RJD ticket. Section 144 was in force under the Model Code of Conduct.
Proclamation issued against Lalu Yadav
Despite Section 144 being in force, Lalu Yadav held an election meeting in Pandeypur village. He sought votes in favour of RJD candidate Parmeshwar Singh. The then CO did not give permission to play loudspeakers in the program. It is alleged that Lalu Yadav and Parmeshwar Singh addressed the meeting despite not having permission.
It is a case of violation of the code of conduct
Section of the Loudspeaker Act was violated in the election meeting. The administration registered a case in Daraunda police station under Sound Amplification Devices Act-9. The police made Lalu Yadav and Parmeshwar Singh accused. In the old case, the court has issued a proclamation against Lalu Yadav. However, Parmeshwar Singh, who was the candidate, has died.
