Reportedly TV9's former CEO and also news presenter cum senior journalist Ravi Prakash has met police officials a day ago. Meanwhile at that time, he told the media persons that few forces in Telangana are trying to handcuff democracy and liberty of journalism, and stated that a war is going on between 'mafia and media'.
When cut
to Wednesday, that is yesterday, Ravi Prakash was grilled by Cyber crime sleuths
for nearly 10 hours until 10 30 pm in the night. Furthermore the former TV9 CEO
hasn't given any perfect answer, said Cyber crime police. In a press note, they
informed media that Ravi Prakash is not co-operating with the investigation and
evading several questions while misleading investigation officers with
irrelevant issues.
Moreover despite talking about the forgery case,
Ravi Prakash is said to be asking them to reveal who is pressuring them to take
the case and other things like that. Apparently he is being questioned in the
two forgery cases filed by Alanda Media, that owns a major stake in TV9's
parent company ABCL now. Hence as Ravi owed before media folks that he will
cooperate in all manners for the investigation, one wonders what is really
happening.
