Actress trisha has scored back to back superhits last year and this year with her comeback romantic entertainer 96 co-starring Makkal Selvan vijay sethupathi and was following it this year with the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer petta and has reasserted her position in Kollywood. 

Trisha was in talks to play the female lead in the next movie of megastar chiranjeevi which will be directed by blockbuster maker koratala siva and bankrolled by Ramcharan. But she walked out of the movie at the last minute citing creative indifferences. Recently, it has been revealed that chiranjeevi was behind that as trisha openly confessed that she wasn't happy about pairing with Rajini in 'Petta' as her screen space was so little.
