Twitter indian government Agents...

The problems of the social media website twitter, surrounded by cyber security and fake accounts, have increased further. A former twitter Ex-Security Officer said in the US congress (Parliament) on tuesday that this social media platform is unable to control weak cyber security, privacy threats and millions of fake accounts. He has also claimed that twitter had hired agents of the government of india and the government of china in the company. Renowned cyber security expert Peter M Jetko appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee to present his arguments on his allegations.

He said that twitter is misleading the public, MPs and regulatory bodies. Peter said, 'Twitter does not know what data they have, where that data is and where it comes and goes. Surprisingly, twitter can't protect them. This is a big deal for all of us. If there are no locks, then it doesn't matter who has the keys. He alleged that Twitter's top leadership has overlooked this aspect as it prefers profit over security.

'Twitter had kept agents of the government of india and China'

Peter Jetko also claimed that twitter intentionally allowed the indian government to keep its agents in companies where they had access to highly sensitive user data. Jetko claimed that he was speaking with great confidence about a foreign agent whom the indian government called on twitter to "understand the conversation" between India's ruling party and twitter over the new social media restrictions and how well these conversations were done. Had to keep it to know what is going on. He revealed on tuesday that before he was fired, he was told that at least one agent of the Chinese intelligence service MSS or the Ministry of National Security was a twitter employee.

He recalled a conversation with Twitter's current CEO Parag Aggarwal, saying he was surprised by the conversation he had with him about russia as he, being the company's chief technical officer at the time, had asked if there was any surveillance and security for the Russian government. It would be possible to bet on content filtering because twitter doesn't have the capacity and means to do such things properly. He complained as a whistleblower to congress, the Justice Department, the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission in July.

Twitter violated agreements

His most serious allegation is that twitter violated the terms of a 2011 FTC settlement and falsely claimed that it had taken strong steps to protect the safety and privacy of its users. senator Dick Durbin, the head of the judicial committee and Democrat of Illinois, said Jetko had detailed information about the flaws that could directly threaten millions of twitter users and American democracy. Jetko claims could also affect tesla owner Elon Musk's efforts to back out of a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter.
