Vande Bharat Express Amenities: With prime minister Modi inaugurating the first Vande Bharat train service in tamil Nadu, let us know about its highlights.

Vandebharat train Schedule:

Launched by prime minister Modi and tamil Nadu chief minister M.K.Stalin, the Vande Bharat train will run 6 days a week between chennai and Coimbatore. Does not operate on Wednesdays only. It takes 5 hours and 50 minutes to reach chennai from Coimbatore. It stops at salem, Tirupur, and Erode railway stations only. It has been announced that the change will be made as per the demand in the future. The train departs from coimbatore at 6.35 am and reaches chennai Central at 11.50 am. In the other direction, the train departs at 2.25 pm and reaches coimbatore at 8.15 pm.
Vande Bharat train is operated with 8 coaches. Running at an average speed of 110 kmph, the train reaches coimbatore an hour earlier as compared to Shatabdi Express. As far as luxuries are concerned, there are automatic doors, AC, Wi-Fi, GPS, audio, video infotainment, bio-toilets, and 180-degree swivel seats. All 16 coaches of the train are equipped with CCTV cameras for complete security of the passengers traveling on the train. Automatic train doors are opened only when the train comes to a complete stop. The train departs only when the doors are fully locked. Some coaches of the Vande Bharat Express train have wheelchair parking facilities so that the physically challenged can travel on the train without any difficulty. Also, overhead space is provided for all passengers to store their brought equipment and supplies. The best meals are served on the train itself. Vandebharat train Fare Details:

Passengers traveling on chennai - salem AC will be charged Rs. 1,740 and those traveling in non-AC coaches will have to pay Rs.895. chennai - Erode passengers will have to pay Rs 985 for non-AC coaches and Rs 1,930 for AC coaches. Passengers traveling between chennai - Tirupur will have to pay Rs 1,280 for non-AC coaches and Rs 2,325 for AC coaches. chennai - coimbatore passengers will have to pay Rs 1,365 for non-AC coaches and Rs 2,485 for AC travel.
