The release of Nayanthara's upcoming movie, "Connect," has her pumped up. This horror thriller, which is being released in theatres first, is directed by Ashwin Saravanan, who is well known for the films Game Over and Maya. Not only that, but with just two days till the release (Release Date: december 22, 2022), the movie is reportedly having trouble connecting with exhibitors.

"Connect" is only 90 minutes long, as we've already mentioned, and the filmmaker wants the audience to experience it in true hollywood fashion without a break. While theatre operators and telugu exhibitors are cool with it, tamilnadu theatres don't want to consider the idea. They've already said that their money (profits) come from the canteen sales during the intermission, so what's the sense of making a movie if the makers don't prepare the intermission?

According to the most recent news, approximately 50% of the tamilnadu theatres that have been selected to screen the movie have not yet given their approval for its release. As a result of Vignesh Shivan's connections to influential figures in tamilnadu, discussions are currently being held to persuade the film's exhibitors to release it. Even Nayanthara has modified her position and heavily pushed the film in both kollywood and tollywood so that "Connect" will connect with the public on a deep level.
