⏰ New school Timings in Noida
📌 Latest Order:
- 🕢 School start time: 7:30 AM
- 🕧 School closing time: 12:30 PM
👉 These timings apply to:
- All government schools
- Private schools
- CBSE, ICSE, IB, and UP Board schools
The new schedule is effective from april 27, 2026, until further notice.
🌡️ Why Were Timings Changed?
Authorities took the decision because:
- Temperatures have crossed 40°C+ in the region
- Heatwave conditions are expected to intensify
- Students were at risk of heat exhaustion and dehydration
- Afternoon heat is considered unsafe for school-going children
👉 The aim is to ensure students finish classes before peak afternoon heat.
🏫 What This Means for students & Parents
- Schools will start earlier in the morning
- Classes will be shortened or adjusted
- Students will return home before hottest hours
- The order is temporary and may change depending on weather conditions
⚠️ Important Note
- These timings are not permanent
- Any further updates will depend on IMD weather reports
- Schools may shift again if heatwave conditions worsen or improve
🧠 Final Takeaway
Noida schools have shifted to early morning sessions (7:30 AM–12:30 PM) as a safety measure against the ongoing heatwave. The change is temporary and aimed at protecting students from extreme weather.
