Now, by marking a special place for the elderly in Delhi's Mayur vihar Phase-1, delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva along with Union minister of State Harsh Malhotra laid the foundation stone of the Senior Citizen Entertainment Center there. This center is being built by the Municipal Corporation of delhi (MCD), so that the elderly get a chance to spend time happily along with respect. delhi Mayor Sardar raja Iqbal Singh was also present on this occasion and he promised to make this project even bigger.
The foundation stone was laid with the help of the elders
On monday (May 5), the foundation stone laying program was held with great pomp in Mayur Vihar. Apart from Virendra Sachdeva and Harsh Malhotra, MCD Shahdara South President sandeep Kapoor, Vice President sanjeev Kumar, mla Ravikant and Mayur vihar District bjp President Vijendra Dhama also reached there. Many elders and senior citizens of the area also became a part of this special occasion. First, Bhoomi Pujan was done and then the foundation stone was laid.
What will be special for the elderly in this?
This entertainment center will be a place for the elderly, where they can sit comfortably and chat, laugh and talk and stay connected with the society. It will have good seating arrangements, light activities and some sports options as well. Its purpose is that the elderly do not feel lonely and they make their life happy.

Virendra Sachdeva said, "Our elders are our real capital. Respecting them is not just the duty of the family but of the entire society. We want them to remain a part of the society. This center is the result of that thinking. Harsh Malhotra said, "The elders give direction to our society. We should do something for their smile. I hope that this center will give hundreds of elderly people of Mayur vihar a chance to laugh, talk and spend time together. raja Iqbal Singh said, "I will try to build such centers for the elderly and women in each of the 250 wards of Delhi. This is our promise.
