AIMIM leader Waris Pathan has reacted strongly to this video and has demanded action against the girl from the Union home Minister.Waris Pathan posted from his 'ex' handle, writing, "This is @Sharmishta__19. Whatever obscene words she has used, no Muslim will tolerate it. When the whole country is standing together, at this time she is trying to spread communal tension in the country by speaking such language. We request the home minister of india to immediately take her into custody and take strict legal action."
What did the girl say in the video?
The girl seen in the viral video is seen responding to the comment of another social media user. She says, “This lady thinks that india has already opened fire without any reason. Didi, are you crazy? Have you heard of the pahalgam attack? Have you heard of the other attacks before that? pakistan has been wreaking havoc for so long, so should india not do anything? We cannot sit idle. We are not devotees of mahatma gandhi now.”
In the video, the girl also makes objectionable comments about Prophet Muhammad and huris, over which Waris Pathan has expressed displeasure. As soon as the video went viral, social media was divided into two parts. Some people are supporting the girl, while many people are considering it highly objectionable and spreading hatred in the society.This is the reason why AIMIM leader Waris Pathan termed the girl's comments as 'absurd' and 'provocative'. He said that it is not limited to mere rhetoric on social media, but legal action is needed.
