Popular actress hansika motwani tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Sohail Kathuria in december 2022. Now the actress has treated her fans with glimpses of her wedding through her new reality show 'Love Shaadi Drama' which telecasts on 'Disney Plus Hotstar'. Recently, in an interview, Hansika shared some interesting things about her love story and marriage with her best friend Sohail Kathuria.

hansika motwani shared about her decision to telecast her wedding for a web show that she wanted her fans to be a part of. Stating that they decided to get married in about six weeks. Hansika revealed that her husband Sohail was initially uncomfortable with the idea of documenting their marriage, as he was not used to cameras. He said that everything was shot very organically, but he was criticized for using his private moments for a show. She said about this, “I have always grown up in front of an audience. He has seen my journey and has been a part of my life since I was eight years old. When I decided to be a bride, I wanted them to see it and what better way than by joining hands with 'Hotstar'? It was my way of inviting him on my special day. Cameras were all around us, but there was nothing to camera. Let them (trollers) keep talking, it doesn't matter to me. It's really fine. I know it's coming from my heart and it's reality."

When Hansika was asked to share how she fell in love with Sohail, she revealed that they were never business partners as stated by the media. She said that Sohail has always been her brother Prashant's best friend, but she never thought that she would marry him. Along with being my brother, he also became my best friend. It was all very natural for us. To be honest, I never thought that I would I will marry him. The man who is often around me, he will become my life partner. Meanwhile, when people say that I married my best friend, I don't mind, but it is true. The bonding is so different and it's amazing. It can't be expressed, but I just feel it had to happen."

While a lot of men have a 'bro code' of never dating their friend's sister, Hansika revealed how her brother prashant took the news of her marrying Sohail. She shared that her brother loves Sohail a lot and he had given some warnings to her before getting married. In her words, "He's a nice guy. Also, he really adores Sohail a lot and I think he's more possessive than me. It makes me jealous, but yeah, he's better for you and don't waste it." Don't. These were his warnings to me. As I told you Sohail has always been a family and everyone was very happy about it."

Further in the interview, Hansika revealed that she wanted to get married at the age of 24, as she had a lot of work. Looking back at her work, the actress shared that she decided to be patient and get on with the job. However, when Sohail proposes her for marriage, she cannot say 'no' and decides to marry him. He concluded, “Then I decided that it will happen when it has to happen. There was also no pressure on me to get married, but I think Sohail lost his patience and told me that we should get married now. He decided on a big proposal so that I would be ready. We've been such good friends, life hasn't changed for us and it just got a lot better."
