The andhra pradesh administration has received an unexpected shock from the ap High Court. The state government's directives assigning special invitees for the tirumala tirupati temple have been stayed by the High Court. Opposition parties have been known to over-appoint special invitees in the past. The petition was submitted at the high court today, and the hearing was held today.

The nomination of members of the governing board has also been heavily criticised. The applications, in this case, were rejected by the high court today. About 80 members of the governing body have been chosen by the state government. Leaders of the ycp are included in this group. "There is no need for this," opposition organisations said, calling for a boycott of the assembly.

The bjp has been particularly outspoken in its criticism, calling for the temple's management to be transferred to "Hindu religious organisations." However, the alleged scandals of financial irregularities in land purchases by the Trust established for the ayodhya Ram temple operate as a deterrent. They shouted slogans to demonstrate their active campaign in the recent lok sabha by-election in Tirupati.

Devotees have contributed significant assets to the temple in Tirumala's hills over the years. The fixed deposits were estimated to be worth 14,000 crore rupees and more than 9,000 kilos of gold in 2020. The temple also possesses a large number of assets, not just in andhra pradesh but across the country, including 8,000 acres of property donated by worshippers.
