Given how many hollywood A-listers have recently praised "RRR," there is little doubt that pressure to nominate the movie as India's official oscar entry is mounting. According to rumours, rajamouli and his father Vijayendra prasad are both moving their pieces swiftly to ensure that the movie receives a nomination at any costs.

Rajamouli is currently in the united states for a film festival where his movies are being played and discussed. The director is simultaneously receiving invites to attend events and have his rrr screened from numerous other film festival organisers. Taking inspiration from this, rajamouli is reportedly in conversation with a number of agents and other hollywood industry heavyweights so that rrr will receive the right attention in Los Angeles and find a position when "The Academy" announces its nominations later this year.

RRR, on the other hand, must first be submitted for nominations by the indian government; nevertheless, the Oscars selection committee is also taking note of a few other movies, such as The Kashmiri Files. For the same reason, Vijayendra PRasad, Rajamouli's father, is reportedly engaging with significant figures from the world of film to persuade them that sending rrr to the Oscars contest is the appropriate decision.
