As the world advances, diseases are also advancing! Along with changing lifestyle and eating habits, lack of exercise in the body, new bacteria are emerging due to not consuming fresh food. Three people died after drinking milk shake in America recently. The reason is not the milk shake, it is contaminated and infected with Listeria bacteria! What is that bacteria? What are the symptoms of the disease? Where does the bacteria actually originate? How does it spread?

Listeria bacterial infection is a foodborne illness. But this is not a small disease that takes light. This is a deadly disease! It is usually caused by consuming poorly processed meats, unpasteurized dairy products. At the same time, it is said that it spreads well in cold conditions. If the refrigerators are not cleaned properly, it seems that bacteria can spread in that area.

An infected person is said to have fever, muscle aches, diarrhea, nausea, neck pain, muscle aches, confusion, and loss of balance. The disease lasts for 70 days after the infection. Experts say antibiotics are the first line of treatment for patients with Listeria infections. An infected person should rest a lot. During this time the patient should increase his liquid food intake.

Light food and food like porridge should be taken more. It helps prevent infection. It is said that pregnant women, people over 65 years of age and people of all age groups with low immunity are prone to this infection. However, experts say that this infection is less likely to infect healthy people.
