TASMAC diwali Sales: So many crores in 2 days..!?

Tasmac stores run from 12 noon to 10 pm and are busy with sales on any festival including diwali and Pongal. On the occasion of the diwali festival, it has been reported that in the last 2 days in tamil Nadu, liquor sales to the tune of Rs.467 crores have taken place. This is more than last year. There is no denying that Tasmac stores play a very important role in generating revenue for the tamil Nadu government. Tasmac stores run from 12 noon to 10 pm and are busy with sales on any festival including diwali and Pongal. Likewise, the last days of the week are the first days when the Tasmac store is closed for any of the leaders' birthdays, festivals, and other reasons.
Meanwhile, the diwali festival was celebrated in tamil Nadu yesterday (November 12). Every year the sales target is fixed for the main festival, in the last 2 days in tamil Nadu the sale of liquor was Rs.467 crores. 221 crore rupees were sold on the 11th and 246 crore rupees on the 12th.Also, on november 11, liquor was sold for Rs 52.73 crore in Madurai, Rs 48.12 crore in chennai, Rs 40.20 crore in Coimbatore, Rs 40.02 crore in Trichy, Rs 39.78 crore in Salem, Rs 55.60 crore in Trichy and Rs 55.60 crore in chennai on november 12. According to TASMAC sources, alcohol was sold for Rs 52.98 crore, Rs 51.97 crore in Madurai, Rs 46.62 crore in Salem, and Rs 39.61 crore in Coimbatore. But no official information has been released by the government.
Madurai and Trichy regions are said to have sold the most amount of liquor in terms of regional level. 431.03 crores worth of liquor for diwali in 2021, Rs. 464.21 crores. In this case, the sale of alcohol has increased significantly this year.
