Mansoor ali Khan has threatened to sue actress trisha krishnan after apologizing for his misogynistic statements' against her. In an interview with india Herald, Mansoor further stated that he intends to sue the actor for slander. He also stated that he would file a complaint later that day.
Mansoor said, “We are doing it (filing defamation case) today. We have prepared all the documents. (My) lawyer will share all other information later today at 4’o clock. He will meet the press." Mansoor called it the "biggest joke" when asked about his apology.


Recently, Mansoor released a statement saying, "My co-actress trisha, Forgive me. Let the god bless me by having me during your wedding." After the apology, trisha took to her X handle and wrote, "To err is human, to forgive is divine."

Mansoor was summoned by the All women police Station (AWPS) of Thousand Lights, chennai, for failing to appear at the police station. The chennai City police arrested the actor for reportedly uttering insulting statements against Trisha. DGP shankar Jiwal issued the order, and the action was carried out.
Previously, the National Commission for women took suo motu cognizance of the complaint and directed tamil Nadu police to file a case against the actor. Mansoor made a statement requesting more time when summons were issued against him, stating he had a throat illness. The actor was charged under indian Penal Code Sections 354 A (sexual harassment) and 509 (word, gesture, or act designed to offend a woman's modesty).

Trisha and Mansoor have key parts in lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, although they don't share screen time. trisha went to X after Mansoor's remark, writing, "A recent video has come to my attention in which Mr Mansoor ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner." This is sexist, insulting, misogynistic, unpleasant, and in poor taste in my opinion."

She had added, "He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. people like him bring a bad name to mankind."

NCW member and bjp leader Khushbu Sundar also hit out at the actor over his comments, posting on X, "Nobody can get away with such a filthy mind. I stand with @trishtrashers and my other colleagues where this man speaks in such a sexist disgusting mindset about them, including me. When we are fighting tooth & nail to protect women & bring dignity to them, such men are like a blot in our society."
