Two days after the congress lost the rajasthan assembly election to the bjp, a political brawl erupted over the murder of Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was shot dead in his jaipur residence on Tuesday. On wednesday, the Karni Sena called rajasthan bandh over the murder, while the bjp, which is set to form the state's administration, said it was a "revenge plan" by the congress after losing the state. Shehzad Poonawala, a bjp national spokesman, posted a video of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi alleging that police had informed him of a security concern, but congress CM ashok gehlot lowered his protection.

Karni Sena chief's murder caught on camera: Here's what happened


1. On Tuesday, three bike-riding males arrived at Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's jaipur home and shot bullets at him.

2. The shootout was captured on CCTV, and the clip went viral on social media.

3. As a result of his retaliation, one of Gogamedi's security men was shot. Cross-fire killed one of the three assailants. He was gunned down by his accomplices, despite police first stating that the assailant was killed by Gogamedi's security guards.


4. When the election results were announced on december 3 and the incumbent congress fell to the bjp, Gogamedi wrote on X that the congress lost because it ignored the Karni Sena.

5. According to rajasthan police, the murder was committed by the Rohit Godara gang. Rohit Godara is a member of the Goldie Brar and lawrence Bishnoi gangs.

6. In response to the assassination, Gogamedi's supporters have called for a bandh on wednesday and warned a statewide shutdown if action is not done.

7. All important political figures in the state, including Congress' ashok gehlot, Sachin Pilot, and the BJP's vasundhara raje and Rajyavardhan Rathore, denounced the death, which occurred as the bjp prepared to create a new government. As soon as the bjp came to power, congress leader supriya Shrinate termed it the "return of jungle raj."

8. The bjp has not yet named a candidate for the position of chief minister, and the state's caretaker administration is currently led by the Congress.

On december 3, Shehzad Poonawala claimed that his 'Congress sources' informed him that the congress was planning an all-out revenge against rajasthan manufacturing and concocting fake and manufactured stories and tasking various mafia, anti-social elements to vitiate the atmosphere by committing various crimes to show rajasthan in a bad light'.

10. "I shudder to think what they're up to." Technically, the congress administration is still in power, but they are going all out for vengeance!" the bjp leader tweeted following Gogamedi's death.
