YS Sharmila's son raja Reddy and Atluri priya got engaged at golconda Resort in Gandhipet yesterday. raja Reddy and priya met for the first time during their postgraduate studies in the US. Both have been in love for the past 4 years and are about to get married with the consent of both their families. raja Reddy works in a major software company and priya works as a financial analyst. Both currently reside in the United States.
Sharmila announced the wedding on her X website page. Her post read, "Wishing everyone a blessed 2024! Delighted to share the news of her son YS raja Reddy's engagement to his girlfriend Atluri priya on january 18 and their upcoming wedding on february 17, 2024."
Earlier on january 3, sharmila officially joined the congress party in New delhi in the presence of All india congress president mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi. She also merged her ysr telangana party (YSRTP) with the congress Party. On january 16, YS sharmila reddy was appointed as the andhra pradesh congress President.
As the clash between jagan Mohan and sharmila continues politically, jagan Mohan has confirmed that there is no rift in their brother-sister relationship by attending his sister's son's engagement ceremony.
