She debuted as an actress in the kollywood super-hero film Mugamoodi (2012) before starring in two lacklustre telugu dramas, oka laila kosam (2014) and mukunda (2014). She also starred in the 2016 historical drama Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik Roshan, which was a box office failure.
 
With Harish Shankar's masala action movie DJ: duvvada jagannadham (2017), Hegde made her big screen debut. She then appeared in Rangastalam (2018), the well-known dance musical "Jigelu Rani." It is possible to interpret her early career decision to appear in a "Item" number as an attempt to maintain the "Glam Doll" persona she established with dj (2017). It's safe to assume that the Tulu actor was successful in doing so, since the song was well-received by moviegoers and she was inundated with offers.
 
Hits like aravinda sametha veera raghava (2018), maharshi (2019), gaddalakonda ganesh (2019), and housefull 4 (2019) came after this. But Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), her Sankranthi release, was her biggest hit. The movie, which was directed by "Guruji" trivikram srinivas, became the highest-grossing telugu movie ever made (not counting Bahubali). Most Eligible Bachelor (2021), her subsequent offering, was likewise warmly welcomed by the public.
 
The actor will find it difficult to forget what happened next. With the Prabhas-starring film radhe shyam (2022), Vijay's Beast (2022) titled "Thalapathy," and the chiranjeevi Ram Charan multi-starrer acharya (2022) & Cirkus (2022), she suffered consecutive defeats. These films were all overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics and huge box office failures. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki jaan (2023), her next theatrical release, is regarded as one of the worst films ever made. It is a remake of Ajith's Veeram (2014), starring salman Khan.
 
She was cast as the female lead in the Mahesh Babu-Trivikram movie at this terrible time, which could have helped her get back on track. She was replaced, much to her chagrin, by Sreeleela for unclear reasons. Hegde was teamed with Vijay devarakonda in puri Jagannath's JGM as well, but the project was abandoned after the Liger (2022) results.
 
Harish Shankar, who was instrumental in her success with gaddalakonda ganesh and dj, had intended to place her opposite Mr. Bachchan and Ustaad Bhagat Singh. She was replaced in both films, though. Due to financial difficulties, sampath nandi and Sai Dharam Tej's movie was shelved, and she agreed to play the lead role in it.
 
It should be mentioned that she never received recognition for her acting abilities, even after skimming through a tonne of hits. She was never regarded by reviewers as a talented performer, but more as eye candy. Hegde's future appears to be absolutely grim right now, and only a miracle will keep her from being extinct.
