The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir has stunned the whole country. All the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties have strongly criticized this attack. At the same time, a controversial statement has come from congress leader priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra regarding this matter.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Robert Vadra said that I pay my tribute to the 28 people who lost their lives in this attack. Also giving a controversial statement, he said that this attack happened because of the atmosphere against Muslims in the country.
'If Hindu-Muslim conflict is not stopped, terrorist attacks will continue'
Robert Vadra said, “I feel that Muslims are stopped from offering namaaz in mosques or mosques are being surveyed to find any idol, which is happening in Sambhal. If you talk about babur or Aurangzeb, minorities feel hurt. politics takes place on these issues and restrictions are imposed. religion and politics should be separate. If this is not stopped, then these terrorist attacks will continue to happen. Because there is evidence that they shot after seeing the ID. Where does it happen to kill them or leave them? Their thinking is that Muslims are being suppressed.”
Businessman Vadra said, "I feel very bad and my deepest condolences go out to the people killed in this terrorist act. In our country, we see that this government talks about Hindutva and the minorities feel uncomfortable and disturbed. One community is allowed to celebrate its festivals, pray and campaign on the streets while the other community is stopped. The world sees this. They are also not happy. amarnath yatra is going to happen after a few days, there will be hindrance in that too."
'Why are terrorists looking at identity?'
He further said, "If you analyse this terrorist act, if they (terrorists) are looking at the identity of the people then why are they doing this? Because a division has been created between Hindus and Muslims in our country. This will make such organisations feel that Hindus are creating problems for all Muslims. Looking at the identity and then killing someone, this is a message to the Prime Minister, because Muslims are feeling weak. Minorities are feeling weak. This should come from the top that we feel safe and secular in our country and we will not see such acts happening."
