Unprovoked small weapons firing was carried out by the Pakistani army in kashmir over the Line of Control (LoC). indian troops used small guns in a suitable response. So far, no casualties have been recorded. indian forces reacted defensively to the firefight, which took place in multiple sites along the Line of Control. According to officials, indian forces maintained border security by responding accordingly to the situation.

Three days after the devastating pahalgam terror assault, which claimed the lives of at least 26 people, largely tourists, and injured numerous others, the pakistan army was alleged to have violated the ceasefire on Friday. 

GUNFIGHT BETWEEN FORCES AND TERRORISTS

According to sources, the incident injured two senior police personnel and injured a terrorist who was on the run.
 
Following a cordon and search operation in the Bazipora woodland region in response to intelligence reports regarding the existence of terrorists, the altercation started.  When the terrorists started shooting, the operation turned into a shootout.
 
In the Udhampur district, a Special Forces soldier was killed in a clash between insurgents and combined security forces the day before.


A massive manhunt is in progress to find the five or six terrorists responsible for the latest atrocities in Pahalgam.  Images of the three men thought to be responsible for the attack—Abu Talha, Suleman Shah, and Asif Fuji—have been made public by the authorities. Anyone who can provide reliable information about their whereabouts would receive a reward of Rs 20 lakh.
