Adil Hussain Thoker, also known as Adil Gojri, had his home in Bijbehara destroyed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on Friday, marking the start of the operation.  Officials claim that Adil entered pakistan lawfully across the Attari-Wagah land border in 2018 and received training there before reentering kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir last year.  He is thought to have been instrumental in organizing and carrying out the fatal pahalgam attack.

Another accused, Asif Sheikh, had his home in Tral completely demolished by a bulldozer.  The home of Adil Sheikh of Monghama, Tral, who is thought to have been implicated in the pahalgam incident, was also destroyed by authorities.

IEDs were used to damage the double-story home of Ahsan Ahmad Sheikh, a native of Murran in Pulwama and an active LeT cadre who joined the group in june 2023.  Shahid Ahmed, who joined Lashkar two years ago, had his home destroyed in the Chotipora neighborhood of Shopian.

Forces detonated Zakir Ganie's Quimoh home in a similar operation in Kulgam.  In 2023, Zakir became a member of the terror group. As part of a concerted response to the pahalgam terror incident, five homes belonging to active Lashkar cadres have been destroyed since yesterday.
