The missiles launched by pakistan were destroyed by this S-400 air defense shield system. The sophisticated air defense armored vehicle designed by russia is called the Sudarshana Chakra in India. This vehicle can track missiles coming from a distance of 600 km. Similarly, it can intercept and destroy targets at a distance of 400 km. An agreement was signed between india and russia for the purchase of five S-400 air defense systems for Rs. 35 thousand crores. Out of which, 3 systems have been delivered. The remaining 2 systems will be delivered by 2026. It seems that there has been a delay in the delivery of these due to the war in Ukraine. Currently, these missile defense systems that india has are being used by the air Force. They are deployed on the china and pakistan borders.
