A biopic of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, known as the Missile Man of India, is being prepared. Actor dhanush will play the role of Kalam in it. The film has been titled 'Kalam: The Missile Man of India'. The film is being produced by bhushan Kumar, krishan kumar of T-Series Films, abhishek Agarwal, and Anil Sungar of abhishek Agarwal Films. The film's first look poster has also been released by the team. The film will be directed by bollywood director Om Rawat. He previously directed Prabhas's Adipurush. The film was a huge flop. Om Rawat is waiting to make a comeback with the film. He posted the poster of Kalam on his social media page and said, 'From Rameshwaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan. A legendary journey begins. India's missile hero is coming to the silver screen.. A big dream'.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's next film 'Kubera' is set to hit the screens in June. Directed by telugu director Shekar Kammula, the film stars Nagarjuna, rashmika mandanna, Jim Saraf, Talip Tahil, tarun Arora, and others alongside Dhanush. The film is being produced by Shekar Kammula, sunil Narang, and Pushkar ram mohan Rao under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations. The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran. dhanush has also committed to acting in the direction of Mari Selvaraj, Vignesh Raja, and Vetrimaaran.
