The raja Saab, starring prabhas and directed by Maruthi, is one of the year's most eagerly awaited films.  Fans have been anxiously expecting an official release date despite numerous delays.  The makers are now aiming for a global release on december 5, 2025, according to reports.  Originally scheduled for april 10th, the movie was delayed for a number of reasons.  With a strong hint of a teaser rollout imminent, filmmaker Maruthi just hinted a huge upgrade. 

It's interesting to note that indian cinema has a particularly strong window during the first week of December.  Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, became a smash after its december 1st release in 2023.  When Allu Arjun's pushpa 2 debuted on december 6, 2024, it broke box office records.  Fans are speculating if prabhas will be the third big star to dominate this profitable week, as The raja Saab is now targeting december 5th. 

Along with a formal announcement of the release date, the official teaser is anticipated to be released around the first week of June.  The timing of the film appears to be ideal, as there are currently no significant competitions scheduled for that december window.  Fans have high hopes for The raja Saab, which is expected to be Prabhas' only release of the year as he continues to balance other high-profile projects.  They anticipate that this movie will earn at least 1000 crores at the box office.
