Concerns about a potential new wave of the pandemic are being raised by the alarming increase in COVID-19 cases in india across a number of states. Healthcare systems are on high alert as a result of new illnesses being reported in delhi, tamil Nadu, maharashtra, karnataka, and Kerala.
 
With 273 ongoing cases, kerala is currently in the lead, followed by tamil Nadu (66), maharashtra (56), delhi (23), and karnataka (36). With new cases popping up and the threat in southern india growing, even the telugu states are no longer protected.
