Star de Armas said it is "unbelievable" that Cruise took the time to publicly support the movie during tuesday night's "Ballerina" premiere at the TLC Chinese theater in Hollywood. She also took sure to stress that his endorsement of movies is not limited to the "John Wick" spinoff.
 
De Armas remarked, "You know what, he supports every movie."  He is adamant about the film industry and its success, and he encourages people to visit theaters.  He saw "Ballerina" because we work together, and he thought it was great.  He adored "John Wicks."

"It is really unique that someone like him is supporting ['Ballerina,'" she added.  In general, having other performers and individuals help each other out is quite unique.  Together, we can succeed.
 
Cruise was outspoken in his support of "Ballerina" on his press tour for "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning." He also spoke about the commitment he has witnessed from de Armas, Keanu Reeves, and the entire "John Wick" cast.
 
"I adore that franchise and what those guys do," Cruise told ap of "John Wick."  "I understand what it takes to write and produce these kinds of stories.  And now they're releasing "Ballerina" with Ana, which is amazing.
