Silent heart Attack: This type of heart attack that can occur in young people comes suddenly without any symptoms. This is what doctors call a Silent heart Attack. That is, a heart attack that occurs suddenly without any symptoms is called a silent heart attack. Delhi-based cardiologist Niranjan Hairman spoke in detail about this heart attack in an interview given to Hindustan Times.
Increase in youth: He said that this type of heart attack is increasing among the youth in India. "I see a lot of patients, they are in their 30s and 40s. They look healthy and active, but they suddenly get a heart attack and are admitted to the hospital," he said.
Risk for women and diabetics: Doctors say that 22 to 60 percent of the total heart attacks in the world are of this type. Silent heart attacks are especially common among women and people with diabetes. Usually, there is terrible pain in the heart when a heart attack occurs, but silent heart attacks can appear suddenly without any symptoms, says Dr. Niranjan.

We should sleep properly: One of the reasons for this is that our lifestyle has become full of various stresses, says Dr. Niranjan. He says that changing our eating habits is the main reason and that going to the gym and exercising for a long time can also cause heart attacks. Many people do not sleep properly, and he advises that they should sleep at night, and sleep an average of 8 hours a day.
Physical examination before going to the gym: Those who go to the gym for exercise should not do intense exercises immediately, they should go to the gym only after a proper physical examination, and they should increase their exercises gradually, he advises. The doctor says that indians are very likely to develop heart disease Niranjan says that the main reason for this problem is the genetics of indians, the presence of small arteries, diabetes, and high body fat problems.
Even if he looks healthy, there is a risk: He says that even if a person looks healthy from the outside, he can also have a silent heart attack. He says that we should not take any discomfort in the heart, difficulty breathing while exercising, feeling tired, pain in the neck and arms, dizziness, and discomfort such as not digesting food for granted.
Annual physical examination: He advises that people should not self-medicate for these problems and that if these occur frequently, they should go to a cardiologist. He says that everyone should ensure that they get a full physical examination every year. He says that tests like ECG, cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc. should be done.
Do not eat packet foods: If someone in your family has already had a heart attack, has high blood pressure, or has diabetes, then you should definitely get a full physical examination every year. He says that it is important for those who go to the gym for exercise to get a full body checkup before going. He says that high-fat, packaged foods and foods with high sugar content should be avoided.
Reduce stress: He advises that you should do yoga every day, reduce stress, and sleep at least 8 hours a day. In India, there has been a situation where heart attacks have no relation to age. He warns that silent heart attacks come without showing any symptoms, but the impact they can cause can be very bad, sometimes even leading to death.
The danger is if you are tired: Even if you sleep for 8 hours a day, your body is tired. If you feel extremely tired, seek medical advice. Silent heart attacks do not come with pain like regular heart attacks, he warns that this is a silent killer that first damages the muscles around the heart and then suddenly causes pain and takes your life.
