According to the information, a high-speed car coming from Badaun near the village Chandouk intersection on Jahangirabad-Bulandshahr road in the Jahangirabad police station area collided with a culvert uncontrollably.

All of them were returning to delhi from a wedding ceremony in Badaun. The reason for the accident is said to be the driver falling asleep. Tanveer Ahmed, a resident of Chamanpura village of Sahaswan police station in Badaun district, lives in Delhi.
Late at night his daughters Gulnaz, and Momina, son Tanveez Ahmed, another teenager Nida alias Jeva, and Zuber Ali resident of Khairpur Balli police station Sahaswan along with his two-year-old son Zainul left for delhi by car on wednesday morning.

Bulandshahr SP (rural) Tejveer Singh said "Today at 5.50 am, Jahangirabad police received information that a car had crashed on Jahangirabad-Bulandshahr road in the police station area. Police and fire brigade reached the spot and started a rescue operation.
An injured Gulnaz has been sent for treatment. The other five passengers have died. Initial investigation revealed that these six people were returning to Malviya nagar in delhi after attending a wedding in Badaun.
