The marketing for james Gunn's Superman is starting to pick up speed as the release date approaches next month. Teasers, tv commercials, and clips will start to appear more often.  For now, IMAX has issued a new promo, but we might see the final complete trailer within the next week or two.

We have some fresh pictures of the Man of Steel (David Corenswet) flying as he battles the Kaiju, but there is also some previously seen footage.  A furious Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), Supes racing to Lois Lane's (Rachel Brosnahan) side, and a long shot of the Man of Tomorrow hurling Ultraman to the ground with a WWE-style suplex are all shown.

"I hope that everyone wants to watch it again," Gunn stated in a recent gshow.com interview.  "You watch some movies and think they're fantastic, and you think, 'Oh, cool, I'll watch it again next year.'"  But my goal is for this to be a film that leaves viewers thinking, "I want to go back to the beginning and watch it all over again."  Because you have the opportunity to repeat that path.  You simply want to experience that rollercoaster ride again, regardless of whether you are already aware of its turns and turns or its conclusion.

Superman's first weekend box office receipts were expected to be between $95 million and $135 million.  The pre-sale of tickets has already brought in $10 million for the film.
