Shahbaz Sharif, while meeting the Qatari diplomat, said that pakistan has always supported establishing peace in the Middle east and resolving all issues through dialogue and diplomacy.

Pakistan, which was now talking about Iran's right to self-defense and was claiming to raise its voice for it on international forums, has taken a U-turn. Now the same pakistan is condemning Iran's attacks. 


Pakistan on tuesday (June 24, 2025) strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on the US airbase in Qatar. Pakistan's prime minister Shahbaz Sharif met Saudi Arabia and Qatari diplomats separately and said that he wishes for the protection of the people of qatar and the Middle East. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has also issued a press release expressing displeasure over Iran's attacks.


According to Pakistani news channel Sama TV, Shahbaz Sharif said after meeting the Qatari diplomat, "We pray that our Qatari brothers and sisters and the entire Middle east remain safe." Shahbaz Sharif reiterated that pakistan has always supported establishing peace in the Middle east and resolving all issues through dialogue and diplomacy.



The Pakistani Foreign Ministry also condemned Iran's attacks. The ministry posted on the social media platform X, which said, 'Pakistan strongly condemns the attack on the US air Force's Udeid Airbase in qatar and is concerned about the serious security situation created in the region as a result of it.'


The pakistan Foreign Ministry further wrote, 'We strongly condemn the recent incident of violation of the principle of respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries. We urge all parties to follow the fundamental rights of international law and exercise restraint.'


The Pak Foreign Ministry said that pakistan reiterates its call to resolve all issues through dialogue and diplomacy and urges immediate steps to de-escalate the conflict.


On sunday (June 22, 2025), the US attacked Iran's nuclear sites, including Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. After this, iran talked of taking revenge and on monday launched a missile attack on the US airbase in qatar, after which tensions increased in the entire Middle east and pakistan, which was till now talking about raising its voice for Iran's rights, immediately took a U-turn. 


US President donald trump says that there has been no damage in Iran's attacks. However, on Tuesday he posted on social media and claimed that he has got a ceasefire done by talking to iran and Israel. iran has also confirmed the ceasefire.
