Iran's supreme Leader Ayatollah ali Khamenei has once again threatened America. He said that iran has access to American military bases in the Middle east and can take action if needed. Referring to the attacks on American military bases in Qatar, he said that if the enemy attacks, it will have to pay a heavy price.
America has been given a hard slap - Khamenei
Khamenei posted on X and wrote, "Iran has given a hard slap on the face to America. We attacked and damaged their Al-Udeid air Base, which is one of the main bases of America in the region."
In his first address after the ceasefire, he congratulated iran and said, "The US government has directly entered the war. The US did this because they thought that israel would be completely destroyed. America entered the war to save israel, but it did not achieve anything."
US attacks Iran's nuclear bases
On june 22, 2025, the US attacked and destroyed Iran's three nuclear bases Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan under Operation Midnight Hammer. This mission included more than 125 aircraft, 7 B-2 stealth bombers and more than 30 Tomahawk missiles. After this attack, trump said that all the nuclear bases of iran have suffered a lot of damage.
Iran targets US military bases
In response, iran attacked US military bases located in Qatar. iran fired 6 missiles at Qatar's Al Udeid Airbase, after which tensions increased significantly in the Middle East. However, Qatar's Defense Minister said that Qatar's Air Force successfully intercepted most of the missiles.
Regarding the ceasefire agreement, US President donald trump claimed, "Israel and iran came to him almost simultaneously and talked about peace. I knew that the time had come now. The world and the Middle east are the real winners. Both nations will see tremendous love, peace and prosperity in their future. They have a lot to achieve."
