This bill is considered to be the most important plan of Trump's second term. It includes implementing the 2017 tax cut permanently, reducing government expenditure and bringing in strict immigration laws. This law includes $46 billion to increase the wall on the US-Mexico border, $45 billion for 1 lakh detention beds for migrants and recruitment of 10,000 new immigration officers. Each officer will also be given a bonus of $10,000.
There is also controversy about this bill. Experts say that this can take away the health insurance of millions of Americans. According to a Reuters report, this bill will add another $3 trillion to America's total debt. Currently, America has a debt of $36.2 trillion.
