Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin has kicked off his eight-day europe tour with a high-profile arrival in Düsseldorf, Germany, signaling a major push to attract foreign investments and strengthen diaspora ties.


1. Warm Welcome at Düsseldorf international Airport

  • CM stalin was received by Anja de Werth from the Protocol Division, NRW State Chancellery, and indian officials including Abhishek Dubey and Vibha Kant Sharma.
  • Hundreds of members from the Tamil diaspora, including families and children, greeted him with flowers, placards, and balloons.


2. Cultural Celebration with the Global tamil Community

  • A massive diaspora event will be held on Sunday, featuring cultural programmes by tamil associations across Europe.
  • CM stalin will honour several Tamil Sangams for preserving tamil heritage and promoting tamil Nadu abroad.


3. High-Powered Investment Conclave

  • Scheduled for Monday in Düsseldorf, the conclave will bring together top global investors and industry leaders.
  • Several MoUs and key investment announcements are expected to boost tamil Nadu’s industrial sector.


4. Bilateral Talks with German Leadership

  • Stalin will meet Hendrik Wüst, Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
  • The meeting aims to enhance cooperation between Tamil Nadu – India’s most industrialised state – and NRW – Germany’s industrial powerhouse.


5. UK Visit to Follow

  • After Germany, stalin will head to the United Kingdom for further investor meetings, diaspora interactions, and academic collaborations.
