Domino's suddenly reduced the price of pizza..!?

In Western countries, pizza is a simple food eaten by everyone, from all walks of life, anytime, but in india pizza is still a luxury food for indian people. At this stage pizza sales in india were dominated by the flag-flying Domino's and pizza Hut to a large extent, the same revolution that took place in America broke out in India. In the last 5 years, more and more domestic brands and regional brands have entered the market for pizza. Domino's has cut the price of its pizzas in response to the crisis. Tossin, India's largest pizza chain Domino's has almost halved the prices of its large pizzas to compete with smaller and newer rivals like Tossin, South Korea's GoPizza, Leo's Pizzeria, MojoPizza, Ovenstory and La Pino'z. US pizza chains have misjudged India's FMCG trend. Many local brands are now pioneers in some markets, not only giving tough competition to popular pizza brands. Apart from this, smaller brands have also rapidly expanded their business in the Quick service Restaurants (QSRs) model. It's all backward. Domino's sent a message to its customers last week that the price of large pizzas has fallen sharply. Domino's said that the price of Veg Large Pizzas has been reduced from Rs 799 to Rs 499 and the price of Non-Veg Large Pizzas has been reduced from Rs 919 to Rs 549. "Pay less, get more," says Domino's in its message. A spokesperson for Jubilant FoodWorks, which operates the Domino's brand in india with more than 1,800 stores, declined to comment at the time of the quarterly results, the Economic Times said. Jubilant Foodworks also operates 21 Dunkin' restaurants and 13 Popeyes stores in India. Jubiland Foodworks' june quarter net profit fell 74% to Rs. 28.91 crore, registering a decline of 1.3% in like-for-like sales. The main reason for this is that domestic pizza brands are gaining more customers.
