Adil was killed along with 25 tourists in the terror attack in Baisaran Valley on april 22 and Adil's family was assured of full assistance from the government. Lt governor Manoj Sinha said, "I visited the house of Aadil, who lost his life in a terror attack while saving tourists. Assurance given of government assistance
LG Sinha personally visited Aadil's house in Haptnard area of pahalgam to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family. Aadil, who was one of the 26 people killed in the brutal attack, was the sole breadwinner of the family. During the visit, the Lt governor handed over the appointment letter to Aadil's wife Gulnaz Akhtar and assured her of full government assistance.
Gulnaz thanked the government and said that she is happy with the order to get a government job.
