During this, the Lieutenant governor was accompanied by senior police and civil officials. Speaking to reporters after the visit, Lieutenant governor Sinha said, "This visit was a serious commitment. We had assured the family of all possible assistance and today's move reflects our efforts to stand with them in this hour of grief."
He has been appointed in the Fisheries Department
Adil was killed along with 25 tourists in the terror attack in Baisaran Valley on april 22 and Adil's family was assured of full assistance from the government. 'Financial assistance also provided to the family'
Lt governor Manoj Sinha said, "I visited the house of Aadil, who lost his life in a terror attack while saving tourists. Financial assistance was also provided to his family by the home Ministry through the kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir administration, and several states also helped. Today, his wife has been given a permanent job."
Assurance given of government assistance
LG Sinha personally visited Aadil's house in Haptnard area of pahalgam to offer condolences and express solidarity with the bereaved family. Aadil, who was one of the 26 people killed in the brutal attack, was the sole breadwinner of the family. During the visit, the Lt governor handed over the appointment letter to Aadil's wife Gulnaz Akhtar and assured her of full government assistance.
Gulnaz thanked the government and said that she is happy with the order to get a government job.
She said that the decision to give permanent jobs to the victim's family has been taken to honor Adil's sacrifice and to ensure that the family does not face financial difficulties after the tragedy.
