There are also proposals available for this. Since the dawn of time, bullet trains have been operating in nations such as europe and America, as well as japan and china in Asia. In India, construction on bullet trains has just recently begun.

To speed up the completion of bullet train projects, the Railway Department has established the National High-Speed rail Corporation (NHSRC). The firm was the first to embark on a 508-kilometre bullet train project between mumbai and Ahmedabad. In addition, work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has already begun. NHSRC has chosen to take on more projects.

Bullet trains plans are to run between delhi and Varanasi, delhi and Amritsar, delhi and Ahmedabad, chennai and Bangalore, Mysore, and mumbai and Hyderabad. In all, the bullet train's length will be increased to 4,109 kilometres in the future. A total of 717 km of bullet train lines would be built from mumbai to hyderabad, according to a preliminary report previously compiled by the NHSRC. A total of 11 stations are also expected to be built.

Mumbai, Navi mumbai Airport, Lonavala, Pune, Pandaripur, and Solapur will all have stations on the line. The rail travel from mumbai to hyderabad now takes at least 15 hours. If the bullet train comes, the journey time will be cut in half to 3:30 p.m. The bullet train will run at a maximum speed of 350 kilometres per hour on this route. In addition, if this route becomes accessible, it will be capable of transporting up to 350 passengers at a time.
