Weather Alert: No Relief from Cold Wave...

The severe cold in the country will continue for now. There is relief from the cold wave in Delhi-NCR and some parts of North India. According to the india Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no cold wave condition for the next four days but the cold will continue. According to IMD, light to moderate rain is expected in the city next week. The Meteorological office has predicted the minimum and maximum temperatures to be around 8 degree Celsius and 23 degree Celsius respectively with fog on Sunday.

Early on Saturday, several regions of the kashmir Valley experienced intermittent light snowfall as the valley's lowest temperature dropped. 

The National Highway between Jammu and srinagar is closed because of the weather. On Sunday, the same circumstances in kashmir may persist.

 It may rain in delhi from 23 to 26 January

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, himachal pradesh and uttarakhand on january 22. Between january 23 and january 26, the rains may intensify.

In these states, a little drizzle is possible

Light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur over Punjab, Haryana, delhi, North rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh from january 23 to january 26.

According to IMD, there may be heavy rain and snowfall on the medium and high mountains of himachal pradesh on january 24. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorms and hailstorms for the plains and lower mountains. According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu, Shimla, Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur districts. By january 25, there may be light to moderate rain in the lower hills and light to moderate snowfall in the middle and higher hills.
