Someone with autism had been locked up in a mental hospital for years. His mother fought a long struggle and rescued him from a psychiatric hospital.

Ryan Clark, 32, has been in the hospital since 2006. His mother, Sharon, from the city of Dankoster, said he was "delighted" that Ryan Clark was returning home after 15 years.

Last July, the National Autistic Society said that the detention of people with autism in psychiatric hospitals in the UK was a national scandal.

Ryan Clark was admitted to the hospital out of concern that he might attack himself.

He was first diagnosed with schizophrenia, but at the age of 28, he was again diagnosed with autism.

Until last Monday, he had spent the previous five years in the forensic psychiatry department.

Criminals will also be taken care of in this section. Sharon said she is happy her son is returning home from a psychiatric hospital and that he will no longer live alone in his own home, with a caregiver of his own.

He's very happy and he likes it, she said. Autism is a trouble that is afflicting more and more people.

Victims may have difficulty communicating and communicating with others.

Unable to cope with maintenance costs, people with disabilities are admitted to hospitals.

He's suffering from autism, he says the same thing over and over again, and I think he did this to reassure himself while he was in the hospital. I think it will stop there.

He will have bad days, but his number will continue to decline. Peter, Sharon Clark's husband, said he enjoys living a normal life with Ryan (Peter's adopted son).

We thought Ryan would take this very seriously, but in his course, he took it very casually, he was so excited, he wanted to see everything at once and do everything at once, Peter said. He smiled happily and danced.

Between 2015 and 2021, the number of people admitted to a mental hospital with autism increased from 1,105 to 1,215, according to National health Service data.
