Akbar and Birbal were going around the Kingdom riding a horse.Akbar Was in a jovial mood and he said to Birbal, ”Bhai Pidar Sumast”.
Those words of Persian language had two meanings-first ‘this hores belongs to your father’ and second ‘this hores is your father.’ Birbal was quick witted,he immediately replied, “Dadah Hazurast.”
Spoken in the same language it also had two meanings; ‘Majesty has given’ and ‘it is grandfather of Majesty.’
On hearing the reply Akbar smiled.
