Rajinikanth starrer 2.O was produced by lyca productions on a huge budget of 550 crores. This PAN india movie is the first movie to be made on such a huge budget. Baahubali series was also made on a budget of 500 crores. The two series have grossed 2200 crores at the box office. It is a record in the history of indian cinema. Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan's dangal was made on a budget of 70 crores and grossed 1600 crores.

Now the people are anticipating the release of rrr and thinking if the movie will be able to break the records of the aforementioned movies. rrr already made a pre-release business of 900 crores and it is expected that the movie will make a collection of 1600-1800 crores. Now the latest buzz is that the rajamouli and Mahesh movie which was announced earlier will have a gigantic budget than any of these movies.

While rrr is made on a budget of 400 crores Mahesh's movie is going to be bankrolled at a budget of 550 crores, which means that the budget the lyca productions have invested on 2.O movie. If this comes true, it will remain as a path-breaker for Mahesh. Also, it will introduce Mahesh to the PAN india audience. vijayendra prasad is yet to write a story for Mahesh.
