Universal Pictures has released a trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion, which features dinosaurs 200 million years ago and functions as a prelude to the movie. The storyline for the third Jurassic Park successor is presently unknown, however it is expected to take place a little after the happenings of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, when the replicated dinosaurs were unleashed upon the world, forcing mankind to learn how to adapt to the new environment. 


Colin Trevorrow returns to direct Jurassic World: Dominion, based on a story he devised with writing collaborator Derek Connolly and a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael. The first Jurassic World: Dominion trailer offers an intriguing glimpse at the long-awaited third instalment and a departure from the Jurassic Park franchise, returning the focus to a time when dinosaurs walked the Earth before mankind. 



The Prologue provides as a proper framework of the distinctions in the two periods, as the upcoming film will examine a world in which the two species are now living together after the events of Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom. The video also features seven new dinosaur species that have never been shown in any previous Jurassic Park films, some of which Trevorrow has guaranteed would appear in the forthcoming movie.
