On Sunday, Raghunandan Rao, a member of the telangana bjp, urged that director General of police Anjani Kumar be promptly transferred to his home state of Andhra Pradesh. He claimed that the state administration had wronged the Telangana-based indian police service (IPS) officers by placing four IPS officials from bihar in important posts. According to the MLA, Anjani Kumar, Sanjay Jain, swati Lakra, and Shahnawaz Qasim were given important positions in the recent transfer of 93 IPS personnel.

He said that not a single IPS officer from telangana had been granted a key position. He claimed that chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao confirmed the rumours that he is from bihar by appointing Biharis to important positions like Chief Secretary and DGP. He claimed that cm KCR promoted authorities who were detaining opposition party leaders in order to carry out the government's directives.

The bjp representative criticised and abused Akbaruddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM, for saying in the assembly that AIMIM will win 15 assembly seats but would cooperate with KCR's Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). This, according to Raghunandan Rao, supports their claim that AIMIM is the BRS's "B" team.
