
AVM Productions is the oldest production house in India. This production house was founded in the year 1945 by A.V.Meiyappan. Avichi Meiyappa Chettiar also known as A.V.Meiyappan is the founder and now his production company is running successfully for more than five decades and three generations. He is generally considered as one of the leading pioneers in Kollywood.
The production house recently completed 70 years of its glorious service to the movie industry. 'Parasakthi', 'Anbe Va', 'Uyrantha Manidhan', 'Murattu Kaalai', 'Sakalakala Vallavan', 'Sivaji' and 176 such movies were produced under this production house.
The
founder A.V.Meiyyappan wrote a book 'Enathu Vaalkai Anubavangal' (My Life
Experiences). The book was recently translated in english and it was released.
A grand function was organized at AVM Rajeshwari Marriage Hall at Mylapore.
Hindu N.Ram presided over the function.

Industrialist Krishnaraj Vaanvarayar released the first copy and Prabhu got it from him. M.Balasubramanian gave welcome speech and Abarana Guhan gave vote of thanks.
