1.Geethanjali
This is one of the epic love story in Tollywood. The love story between Prakash adn Geethanjali was crafted beautifully by Maniratnam. Ilayaraja's music was another biggest strength. The movie won seven state awards. Nagarjuna and Girija Shettar did lead roles.
2.Devadasu
An evergreen love story which is based on Bengali writer Sharat Chandra Chattopadyayay’s novel. Legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao did the lead role and the movie was listed one among hundred great Indian movies by CNN IBN. The movie was directed by Vendatam Raghavaiah.
3.Maro Charitra
Kamalhaasan is at his usual best. The chemistry between lead pair Kamal and Saritha was so beautiful and the movie showcased the cross culture stuff in a lovely way. Late.K.Balachander directed the movie.
4.Abhinandana
This is one of the movies where Music and Romance blends together. Karthik adn Shobana did lead roles and the movie even fetched Filmfare award for Karthik.
5.Prema
This is also a cult love story. But is a tragic story. The movie is about a Christian girl Maggie and Hindu guy Pruthvi. Venkatesh and Revathi does lead roles. The movie fetched Venkatesh Nandi award for Best actor. Suresh Krishna helmed this venture.
