Director Teja's power packed political entertainer "Nene Raju Nene Mantri" starring Rana Daggupati, Kajal Aggarwal, and Catherine Tresa, has opened to great response, thanks to the craze generated by Rana's Bhallaladeva act in Baahubali.
The mass entertainer collected a share of 3.75 crores on its opening day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, making it a hat trick of sorts for Rana, after Ghazi and Baahubali, as well as a decent comeback for Teja after several disasters.
Meanwhile, the team has struck gold, with the television and online streaming rights sold to Star MAA TV and Amazon Prime respectively, for a whopping 5 crores. The movie is expected to get back the returns despite mixed reviews.
