Kollywood industry sources have stated that despite mixed reviews and at least two new Tamil releases every week, Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' continues to attract audiences and the box office collections across Tamilnadu is still going healthy. Sources have stated that with the just past weekend 'Vivegam' has completed 15 days at the Tamilnadu box office and the total collection made by the Siva directed flick is a staggering Rs.66 crores according to information we received from reliable sources.
Accordingly this is the second best collection in the state this year after 'Baahubali 2' that released in April. Currently in Chennai 'Vivegam' has completed three successful weekends at the box office and the total collection stands at Rs.9.47 crores. Coimbatore has contributed around Rs.11 crores, Tirunelveli & Kanyakumari theatricals have collected Rs.2.75 crores, the share of Salem is Rs.5 crores.
Sources have added that the final Box office verdict of this mega budget
film will be known by next Monday. That is after the film completes another
